About Us
We are a global network of 50+ member businesses. We have farmers, fiber processors, emerging manufacterers, natural dyers, designers, upcyclers, and artists. Our members work with natural plant-based fibers, plant-based dyes, artisanal and sustainable textiles. Our members use regenerative agricultural and sourcing practices, as well as engage in other sustainable strategies. Among the issues that are members’ work addresses are: climate change and mitigation, community skill-building, social and racial justice, community wealth creation, enviornmental justice and spirtual healing.
Current Work
Uplifting Our Network Through Film
We created a short film about our network, featuring six member businesses. We have been and will be having screenings. We hope to create a documentary series featuring more of our network businesses in the United States and globally.
Community Workshops
This summer, two of our network members: Kesiena and Mahdiyyah designed and facilitated the Harvesting Nature’s Rainbow series. This was a series of three free community workshops hosted at Black owned / operated community gardens in Brooklyn, New York.
Resource Sharing & Members Collaborations
We provide skill-building opportunites and other resources to members. Our virtual members meet-ups allow our members across the globe to connect and explore collaborations with each other.

Unearthing, capturing, and reclaiming our value within fiber and textile supply networks. Together we are cultivating reverence for earth-based production, and each other through members collaborations and materials exchanges.

We believe free community workshops and co-learning spaces are crucial to building collective power and value. Providing free community workshops and learning opportunities is one or our priorities.

Preserving our cultural agency in the agricultural, fiber, textile and fashion industries. Honoring our ancestor’s cultural traditions, and uplifting unique visions of the future. We do this through visual storytelling about our network and our lineages.
